This acrylic painting features a monochromatic self portrait in various poses, holding a paintbrush in each instance. Overlaying the figures is a bold, black outline of a shark, a depiction of my anxiety. The background is plain, making the detailed figures and the shark outline the focal points of the piece. Combining of the realistic human forms with the abstract shark shape to create a dynamic and intriguing composition.
